Loon Lake Membership
Welcome to the Loon Lake Property Owners Association in Haliburton
We are a volunteer association founded in 1978 for all property owners living along or adjacent to the shores of Loon Lake.
Each year we collect membership dues of $35.00 per property.
These funds help support:
- Yearly membership fees to FOCA (Federation of Ontario Cottage Organizations), CHA (Coalition of Haliburton Associates, CEWF (Coalition of Equitable Water Flow)
- Water Testing and monitoring of Loon Lake water
- Hazard marking on the lake and replacement of equipment
- Publications/Printing such as newsletters, AGM paperwork, memberships, website, etc
- Social events such as the Fishing Derby, Regatta, Pancake breakfast, etc.
- Membership sign *New 2024
- Donations back into the surrounding community
- Member pricing on the LLPOA annual merchandise sales
